I've been on the fence about buying into this. For 2 reasons. One) I'm a hermit and never leave my home. Two) I'm not sure if its worth my time as an mtg player of 25 years. What sets this game apart from the myraid of tcgs that makes it worth the invest? I have a number of children and could play with some of them, ages 14 to 6, this is probably to advanced for a 6 year old though.

Definitely going to cause some chaos at the LGS I'm playing at with crazy Lyra decks that I will lose to complete newbies and win meta defining decks. Can't wait!

Why not rogue squadron? cool ambush with good effect. I was thinking about Bail Organa as well to support your u wing and ackbar's effect I think that 3x shuttle would be nice

Late to the party with this video (its awesome by the way) but I totally agree with you in regards to MTG. I used to absolutely LOVE Magic. Had a full foiled Affiinity deck for Modern back in the day and used to travel for events, draft every week with friends etc. It was insanely fun and rewarding. I stopped playing after the original Innistrad block. Thats when the game went downhill fast. Excess printing, EXORBITANT prices on some "special" packs, banlists that make no sense, the art has gone downhill immensely (Pandering for vocal minorities etc), AI generated crap, Yu-gi-oh amounts of texts on cards, reprints out the ass making a lot of collectible cards plummet, MTGA making it pointless to play a bunch of formats (why would you spend the money?) terrible lore choices and the collaboration with other IPs that just make no sense whatsoever. Gross. Commander is an elite card game and should be the only thing MTG exists to do. I know thats impossible, but honestly its the only good thing about the game now. Sad, because how much I used to love it. Simple, gorgeous art and incredible formats all with their own unique feel. Now its just a licence to print money, and honestly it needs to stop.

Do heroes from previous levels still have their abilities? For example, does Rai still get counters when using abilities if he is level 3? Inherited Effect only functions while the card with the ability is in a Lineage. I can't use this ability if he is stil lvl2 ?

Lmao supersonic flight is just Titanosaurus getting bodied. What Mechagodzilla is that suppose to be though? It looks kinda like Kiryu but that's the one in the other deck.

Great video. Enjoying your content. I wonder why the rules authors chose not to use the term stack, as in Magic. Certainly can't be a copyrighted term as it is commonly used in computer science and elsewhere. It feels like a better metaphor, but not sure it applies here? Do you think it would?

Good video as always and Polkhawk is a champion I haven't really looked at much to be honest, There definitely seems to be potential there but I would like to see a Lv1 and Lv2 champion for him as well as others in the future. Speaking of which does Nico have any promise in the current meta? Some of the support seems pretty good but again no Lv1 or Lv3 is annoying.

I built a very similar deck in preparation for my local Store Championship but after some playtesting, ended up swapping Chirrut out for Leader Luke. I went 3-1. My only loss was to the player that won the event. I main decked the Disabling Fang Fighters (instead of Red Three) since Entrenched, Traitorous, and Shields are a big problem.

the game is really good, and i love it, but living in France it's difficult to find or create new player cause of the english shield for french people, and the diffuclty to find products but specialy singles. I wish the game arrive in a french version so that we could create a solid community

I have not seen in any video like this, rulebook or any forum, the answer to this question (which probably means it's a very dumb one): During the action phase, can you perform as many actions as possible, and not only ONE ability action, ONE card play and ONE attack and so on? So given you have enough resources and the right cards in your hand/deployed ofc, you could for example play an event card, on your next turn you attack with your deployed and readied Boba Fett unit, then you play Fett's Firespray (the one from 13:12), which readies Boba Fett again, and next round you attack with Boba Fett again, and so on until you're only left with the initiative or pass action.
